World Heart Day @ IPHS
World Heart Day is observed on 29th September every year. It is a global campaign during which individuals, families, communities, and governments around the world participate in activities to take charge of their heart health and that of others. Through this campaign, the World Heart Federation unites people from all countries and backgrounds in the fight against the CVD burden and inspires and drives international action to encourage heart-healthy living across the world. Their mission is to create a healthy world where heart health for everyone is a fundamental human right and a crucial element of global health justice.
25 Percentage of global death rate is from Non Communicable Diseases and among them cardiovascular causes is the main killer. Creating awareness amongst communities can create a world of difference and that’s why we celebrate heart health on this special day.
PARENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME - GRADE VI-VIII
Face to face opted Grade 6th to 8th Students Virtual Orientation took place on Thursday 10th September 2020 at 5.30 pm.
Mrs. Anubha Nijhawan our principal welcomed the students and encouraged then for the bold decision on opting FTF. Student Orientation focused on sense of belonging at the school premises, briefing of entry and exit procedures, hygiene practices, recess / break guidelines, and information on how students can adjusting to school life in the COVID-19 presence.
The delivery of orientation programs was done virtually where respective class teachers were present. Parents and students joined the virtual zoom session. Parents doubts and questioned were answered.
45 minutes of this virtual orientation ended leaving the parents and students happy that they are in safe hand at IPHS during school hours.
‘No tobacco day’ Program @ IPHS
“No tobacco day” program was organised by the students of IPHS on 31st May 2020. E-Chart, PPT house wise Presentation was conducted by the students on the topic ‘No smoking’. It summarized about tobacco, its addicting nature, and how it leads to fatal and causes incurable diseases. Thus the day became priceless by learning many new things and also took an oath not to follow the practice of tobacco consumption.
